DIOR was launching a new lips product, gorgeous lipstick with the name of DIOR Ultra Rouge; and I am honored to be part of the campaign. I was contacted by the event organiser agency to illustrate their VIP guests.

The campaign is held for the very first time by DIOR Make Up Indonesia and was heavily supervised by their Principal from Hong Kong. Since it is the very first time event held by DIOR Make Up, the process of me being chosen for being their illustrator is a bit interesting as well.

It was about two weeks before the event when they ask me for a sample illustration; simple black and white with a dash of red for the lips. So I asked them for a day, little that I know, I was one of the shortlisted candidates. Long story short, their Principal love my style and wants me to prepare 35 exclusive sketches their VIPs and I colored their lips in red using the Dior Rouge shade 999 during the event.

I'm so glad and relieved when I asked them about my work, they are all so happy with the result.

Working with SK-II was rather a pleasant surprise. As one of the user of SK-II's product, I was ecstatic when contacted to be part of their #changedestiny campaign and illustrate their lovely patrons at SEIBU Department Store, Grand Indonesia Shopping Town

SK-II Change Destiny is a campaign that encourages women to challenge the belief that destiny is set at birth. That destiny is determined by your own choice of mission and action.

During this event I met a lot of new people, sharing their interest and love for SK-II products. Some of them have just tried to purchase the starter pack, some other have been using it for years, and even there's an online reseller shopping in bulk to benefit from the promotion price.

One day, I got contacted by LANVIN Indonesia team, saying that they will conduct an afternoon soiree for product launching. They ask me to illustrate their VIPs using something new, something that are not paper or canvas.

I offered them digital illustration using iPad Pro, which I think rather fresh, edgy, hustle free and easy to be distributed (simply use AirDrop or Email). They got interested with the idea. Another request is to make the illustration looks simple yet edgy, with the blue signature color of LANVIN as the illustrations' element. And so it goes.

Simply one of my favorite campaign project in 2018 and it's from Maybelline Indonesia. Maybelline Indonesia were launching their new product, Super Cushion Ultra Cover, and they contacted me to collaborate on creating a special edition cushion's cover as part of their product launching.

They were giving away a total of 36 cushions to influencers, celebrity and giveaway winners. A personalised and thoughtful gifts! They will find their face portrait illustrations on the cushions' cover, illustrated by yours truly.

The universe kind enough to give me another chance to work with Chanel and it was for Valentine's day! I was at Coco Chanel Beauty, Fragrance, and Perfume Plaza Indonesia Boutique, February 13th - 14th 2018 from 2-5p.m. Unlike the previous event (The 10th Anniversary of Chanel Indonesia), this time Chanel's team was asking me to do the drawings using Procreate on iPad Pro for the guests coming and spending on their new gorgeous boutique and they can get their illustration version by me printed on the spot.

I bumped into @agathachelsea instagram account in my discovery and found that she's in the middle of campaigning her upcoming cinema movie called Meet Me After Sunset. The sneak peek photos and movie trailers were so interesting. I fell in love with Chelsea's role in the movie. So I drew her as her movie character and posted it to my instagram account.

Not long after I posted my illustration of her, the official account of @meetmeaftersunset liked it and sent me a direct message. They say they love my illustrations and ask if I can create some more illustrations for their poster and join their art competition as well.

Long story short, I agreed to it and they end up using one of my illustrations as their movie premier invitation card instead of movie poster. They also pick me as their first winner of their art competition and put my illustration at their credit page after the movie! I was also invited to the Gala Movie Premier at CGV Grand Indonesia.

It was an awesome feeling to see my artwork on the big screen. Thank God and thanks to #MeetMeAfterSunset team for trusting me and choosing my artwork for your movie.

When Chanel contacted me, it's like a dream come true! It was like 10 days before the event when we conducted a meeting and having some sort of discussion. "We are planning on having this huge event for celebrating Chanel 10th Anniversary in Indonesia and we need an illustrator to create personalised illustration for the guests on canvas. A kind of the one on Montmartre. The guests will be VVIP." I was like, "(gasp) Okay. We can do that." Challenge accepted.

And so we start preparing, looking for the canvases supplier (we need 50 pieces), searching for the wooden easel, also collecting the photo of the guests. Since we only have around 2.5 hours for around 45 people invited, I am sketching the guests faces prior to the event to minimise painting time during the event. So happy that I can successfully pulled it off with some help from the photographer, to capture the guests outfit, and Chanel team, to distributed it to the guests. Yay!!

So Early January 2018 I was asked for my availability to collaborate in a music video. At first I was "What? a music video?"

Then after a few discussion it became clear they wanted to use my illustration for an Official Lyric Video before they created the Official Music Video. 😆

We held several meetings between me, the music label and the artist, it was Ussy Sulistiawaty dan Andhika Pratama. From there I learnt that they are covering an old song by Kerispatih - Sepanjang Usia. They covered this song for their 6th wedding anniversary, how sweet it is. 😍

So, I managed to illustrate for them several illustrations showing their affection and love, and the label compile and edit them into an Official Lyric Video. You can watch it here, and don't forget to show some loves. 😬

et cetera was going to celebrate their new concept store at Grand Indonesia and they need something new and fun for their guests during the event. So I offered them a personalised illustration for each of their guests.

That’s fun! What’s new? While all other fashion illustrators offer the service in traditional method (using watercolor, pencil and paper), I was introducing digital version for this event (using iPad Pro and Apple Pencil). It is more convenient, more practical, need less space, have no smell, and people can instantly upload their illustrations to instagram once they received it. They were happy with the idea and so we were doing it!

I was so happy to be invited by et cetera. Thank you for having me! I was so honored to be part of such a lovely event surrounded by the loveliest team.

It is so exciting to get some new friends along the way just by putting my profile and artwork online. Recently I got to know Maria, a fashion and lifestyle blogger from Greece, and I was more than happy when she sent me a message asking for collaborating by illustrating one of her photo.

Her fun personality shown from her cheerful and bright pictures makes me fell in love with her style directly. So here is the illustration I made from Maria’s photo inspired by UP - an animation movie by Pixar. It's been a while since my last post. Been occupied with other things. But I'm back now to illustrating and updating my blog.

Lately I'm so impressed by what a young people can do with their movement (a positive one for sure). There's one local movement here in Indonesia, which is run by young people, focusing on not so fortunate children.

The movement is called Tanah Air Foundation. Currently they are having a campaign for each T-shirt sold before 5th September 2016, they will give one school bag to children in Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Check out their Instagram page for other cool T-shirt they made.

Therefore I illustrated this image, my favorite couple in Indonesia, Glenn Alinskie and Chelsea Olivia, wearing T-shirt from Tanah Air Foundation.

Outfits from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia 2016 really made me overwhelmed and made me unable to stop drawing the dresses. 😆

This time the inspiration come from the supermodel Bella Hadid wearing Misha Collection by Michelle Aznavorian.
